Using easily configurable text and multicolor LEDs, the SD50 Status Display quickly and clearly communicates vital information where it’s needed most.
Watch this video to learn how to set up the SD50 Status Display in Sequence mode.
In this video, we're going to go over how to set up the SD50 Status Display in Sequence mode.
So from the starting page you choose the Sequence tile.
And what this does is it will cycle through all the different Display Text states.
So states 1 through 16. And you can increment to the next state with your Next State Input; and you can go back to the first state with your Reset State Input.
So the very first thing I'm going to do is I only want to use five states.
So I'm going to use this Last Animation and set that to 5.
So I only see these five that it'll cycle through.
And I do want to be able to toggle through the states, And I want that to be on the black wire. So I'm going to choose this dropdown and pick Black.
I also want to be able to reset to the first state, So I'm going to check the Gray in this box since I want that to be on the gray wire.
For my animations I'm going to leave them as Off.
These control the RGB LEDs on the side of the display, and I mainly just want to use the Display Text.
So this will be demo if you are gluing the fixture together.
So the first one I would want is Place Fixture.
And the second one is Align Pieces.
The third one would be Apply the Glue.
The fourth one would be Join the Pieces.
And the fifth one would be Apply Label.
And I will write those settings to the device.
Also, to get the settings in this video, you can press the Demo Settings button, and that has the same configuration that we showed in this video; And you can click Write Device Settings to save that to the device.
Now I'm going to disconnect from the Pro Editor software and connect to my control device.
Once I'm connected, I'm going to turn on the brown wire for power.
And you can see that the display text is showing Place Fixture.
I am going to go to the next display text by incrementing the black wire.
So I turn the black wire on once and it shows Align Pieces.
I pulse the black wire one more time and it shows Apply Glue.
I pulse the black wire again and it goes to state four, which is Join Pieces.
And I pulse it one more time and it goes to Apply Label, which is our last one.
I can pulse the gray wire to have it reset, and even if I'm a couple states in, I can still pulse the gray wire to have it reset back to the first state.
This has been a configuration demonstration for the SD50 Status Display.
