Monitor Leaks in Your Critical Applications and Receive Real-Time Alerts
Snap Signal Helps Personnel Respond Quickly to Reduce Downtime
Leak detection can be difficult, especially in remote or hard-to-monitor locations. The ability to detect leaks as soon as they happen—and notify people who can quickly respond and mitigate damage—is paramount to minimizing downtime and keeping facilities operating smoothly.
Banner’s portfolio of fiber optic solutions and amplifiers can work together to easily detect leaks. For example, when liquid makes contact with the end of a BT26S fiber optic sensor, a connected R55FVQ amplifier sends out a discrete signal. This signal is converted in-line to a serial protocol and sent to the DXMR90 industrial controller which sends critical information about the leak to a cloud service. The cloud service instantly sends alerts via text or email to personnel who can immediately take corrective action.
