The R95C 8-Port Modbus Hub efficiently gathers large amounts of discrete or analog data from sensors, consolidates it, and sends it to a control system. On discrete hubs, each input port has two discrete channels (either PNP or NPN). Each port on analog hubs can be configured to transmit current or voltage signals.
- Discrete hubs convert signal inputs and outputs the values to defined Modbus registers and can function as a smart logic device, able to store valuable sensor data directly on the hub
- Discrete hubs feature multiple delay modes and measurement metrics, and can mirror discrete signals (In/Out) from any of the eight ports to another port
- Analog hubs can consolidate up to eight 0–10 V DC or 4–20 mA analog signal inputs, then send them via Modbus back to a PLC, HMI, SCADA system, or cloud platform
- Mounting near sensors on a machine reduces or eliminates need for expensive I/O cards in PLC
- Consolidation of up to eight cables reduces installation time and wiring between sensors and control panel
- Slim, compact, stackable form factor is IP67- and IP68-rated for installation and use in many spaces and challenging industrial environments
- Side ports enable cable routing without sharp bends, helping reduce cable damage and related maintenance time and cost
