Banner Adds 600 Amp Transformer to its Current-Monitoring Sensor Line

Banner has expanded its line of current monitoring sensors to include a 600 amp version, (the BWA Current Transformer 600A). Prior versions in the line include 150 and 20 amp transformers. The product is a split-core transformer, used to monitor AC current on large conductor wires, handling heavy current loads, such as in large motors. The transformer works in conjunction with Banner’s S15 Snap Signal converter or with a wireless node to bring the signal back to a controller. The sensor will help maintenance teams stay ahead of potential problems by monitoring for unusual current rise in production machines to ensure assets remain productive.
