Q45 Wireless Dew Point Sensor

Monitoring the dew point within a compressed air system is critical to ensuring optimal performance and efficiency as water vapor can condense and cause damage to equipment and piping. This can lead to corrosion, contamination, blockages, and decreased efficiency throughout the system. Using Banner’s new Q45 Wireless Dew Point Sensor to continuously monitor these conditions will help to maintain high-quality air output, leading to improved product quality and overall customer satisfaction while extending the lifespan of equipment and reducing maintenance costs.  Connected to a wireless gateway, such as a DXM1200-X2, and with the ability to connect to Cloud Data Services, the Q45 monitors and provides valuable insights into the dew point, humidity levels, and temperatures throughout a compressed air system. The Q45 combines a wireless battery-powered node with dew point sensing into one device, allowing easy installation and environmental monitoring without running wire, cabling, and conduit. A standard stainless steel 1/2-inch NPT process connection simplifies installation nearly anywhere through the main distribution and downstream lines, making deployment of multiple sensors easy in order to deliver a complete picture of the system. The IP67-rated housing resists challenging operational conditions so the Q45 can be used in many different applications. To satisfy different wireless gateway needs, the Q45 is available in both 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz models.
