Watch this video to learn about the K50 Pro Select Touch Button Three-State Mode.
This is a short how-to video that will cover the basics of the Three State mode for the K50 Pro Select Touch Button from Banner Engineering.
Begin by connecting the K50 Pro Select to a Windows PC using the Pro-Editor cable kit, and by following the diagram in the manual.
If you're having trouble connecting, check out our troubleshooting guide on the Banner Pro-Editor software.
Plug the Pro-Editor cable into a USB port on your Windows PC and click ‘Connect.’
Click ‘Continue’ and then select ‘Three State Advanced Control’ from the Device Logic Mode dropdown menu.
The Three State mode controls the light using two inputs via the white and gray wires, or pins 2 and 5.
The K50 Pro Select has 11 customizable animations with 14 color options.
To preview an animation, click the ‘Start’ button.
The K50 Pro Select Touch Button provides a discreet output when the touch button is activated.
The output is sent via the black wire or pin 4.
Additional control options for the output signal include selecting Momentary or Latching touch activation, and selecting whether the output is ‘Normally Open’ or ‘Normally Closed.’
To write the configuration to the device, click the ‘Write’ button.
That covers the basics of setting up the Three State mode for the K50 Pro Select Touch Button.
