JB Series Top Mount I/O Junction Blocks

Simplify I/O in Any Application

Simplify I/O distribution and wiring with Banner’s JB Series Top Mount I/O Junction Blocks. Both 4- and 8-port configurations are available for connecting many different types of field devices including sensors, lights, and valves. Each configuration has either M8 3-pin I/O connections with an M12 8-pin or 12-pin I/O homerun connector, or M12 5-pin I/O connections with an M23 12-pin or 19-pin I/O homerun connection. All models also have common power supply connections. 

The JB Series Top Mount I/O Junction Blocks provides scalability with several different models, efficiently fulfilling application needs without wasting space and cost on unused ports. I/O from the multiple ports is consolidated in the block and sent via a single homerun cable back to a control system. On blocks with M8 connections, power is on pins 1 and 3 with I/O signals on pin 4. Blocks with M12 5-pin connections provide power to each port on pins 1 and 3, ground on pin 5, with I/O signals on pins 2 and 4. Each junction block is available in NPN, PNP, and discrete models. The IP67-rated housing withstands harsh conditions, plus NPN and PNP models have diagnostic LEDs for power and I/O signal status that simplify troubleshooting. In addition, custom labels can be created to identify ports, which reduces errors during assembly and speeds up troubleshooting.
