Indicating Machine Status
Challenge
It is important that operators are able to quickly and easily determine the status of this machine. They need to know where in the process the machine is, and when the machine needs immediate attention. A solution is needed that will clearly indicate the status of the machine, even from a distance.
Solution
An EZ-LIGHT TL50 Tower Light is mounted on top of the machine to communicate its status. The highly visible light tower allows employees to quickly check the machine, without needing to constantly monitor its status. Multiple tower lights can be on simultaneously, so several messages can be conveyed at once. The Tower Light is highly visible from all angles, and the indicators appear gray when off to eliminate false indication from ambient light.
