The K50R Pro model also features programmable LED indication that visually communicates status without a separate indication light, saving installation time and cost and letting operators quickly respond to status changes.

Cost-Efficient Alternative to Long-Range Ultrasonic Sensors

The K50R Series includes narrow beam sensors with a 40 x 30 degree field of view and up to five-meter range for reliable detection in many different applications, including level monitoring and applications with limited space. The K50R is sensitive to a wider variety of materials, while the high excess gain delivers more robust measurement and level detection. These abilities make the latest K50R sensors a highly-reliable alternative to ultrasonic sensors.

With an IP67 rating the K50R can be easily integrated into both indoor and outdoor applications, including industrial automation. Its ability to resist rain, snow, fog, steam, and sunlight, plus a wide -40 °C to 60 °C operational range, allows it to be used in nearly any environment.
