Quickly and Reliably Detect a Variety of Challenging Targets

The B25 can quickly detect leading edges of packages within its 25-millimeter beam, even items as thin as three millimeters such as envelopes or poly bags. It consistently detects translucent and challenging targets, including those with complex features like folded edges, holes, or open flaps. These characteristics can cause other sensors to switch on and off repeatedly, or chatter, resulting in false trips that may cause problems down the line.

Intuitive Design Simplifies Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance

Designed for quick setup and easy use, the B25 can be configured using a single button, remote input, or IO-Link interface. At the press of a button, it can easily be taught to filter out the effects of belt flutter and seams. Operators can also teach out a part of the B25’s beam to ensure objects that are on the belt’s surface are detected. Adjustable sensitivity settings maximize performance for detecting translucent objects or small targets. The multi-channel cable exit allows efficient cable routing, and the onboard LED bar graph provides real-time status on light blocked by targets as well as an interface for configuration.
