Quickly and Accurately Detect a Variety of Challenging Targets

The B25 can accurately detect leading edges of packages within its 25-millimeter beam, even items as thin as four millimeters such as envelopes or poly bags. It consistently detects clear and challenging targets, including those with complex features like folded edges, holes, or open flaps. These characteristics can cause other sensors to switch on and off repeatedly, or chatter, resulting in false trips that may cause problems down the line.

Intuitive Design Simplifies Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance

Designed for quick setup and easy use, the B25 can be configured using a single button, remote input, or IO-Link interface. It intelligently learns belt characteristics and optimizes sensing to filter out belt flutter and seams. Operators can also teach out of part of the B25’s beam to recognize the belt location and ensure optimal alignment above the conveyor. Adjustable sensitivity settings maximize performance for detecting clear objects or small targets. The multi-channel cable exit allows for efficient cable routing, and the onboard LED bar graph provides real-time status on lens contaminant buildup so operators can perform preventative maintenance.
