3D Time of Flight

Time of Flight (TOF) sensors are used to measure exact distances to targets. A TOF sensor emits a signal that reflects off an object's surface and returns to the receiver, and the speed of that response is interpreted as a physical distance. A 3D TOF sensor can analyze many points across a three-dimensional area, allowing for measurement of non-uniform targets.
